This book was written with the hope that women who suffer from recurrent urinary tract infections will begin to understand how UTIs develop, learn how to protect themselves from infections, and, as a result, no longer be intimidated by their bladders.
About The Author
Jeffrey Pollen, M.D., has studied and practiced urology for more than forty years. He received a MBBCh. from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa. After immigrating to the United States, he served as Assistant Professor in Surgery and Urology at the University of California, San Diego; staff physician with the Southern California Permanente Medical Group, San Diego, California; and recently retired after many years of service in the Veterans Administration Health Care System.
